San Elizario Gallery District

San Elizario is the town at the far end of the Mission Trail from downtown El Paso, but it’s worth the trip. Not only can you see the San Elizario Chapel, built in 1882, but you can also stroll across the beautiful placita, tour a museum and visit a growing community of artists’ studios and galleries. Many of the artists are working right in the studios that are housed on two blocks worth of historic adobe buildings.
