Sombra Antigua Winery, family-owned and operated, is the newest addition along the Mesilla Valley Wine Trail. Housed in a brand new facility with a very attractive and appealing tasting room, the winery sits in the oldest commercial vineyard in New Mexico. Planted here are grapes for Cabernet Sauvignon, Riesling, Albariño, Barbera and Sombra Antigua’s signature wine, Malbec. Currently offering superb vintages of New Mexico Montepulciano, Tempranillo, Dolcetto plus red and white table wines.
